(3) Remove 4 screws (2 of them on the front
side are the stepped screws) and take off the
fuser unit lower cover.

(4) Take off 2 thermostats by removing 2 screws
each.

Note:
The gap between the fuser roller and ther-
mostat is adjusted to be 2.3±0.2 mm with the
screw in the figure at right. Therefore, make
sure not to loosen 4 screws shown in the fig-
ure at right.
