Creating and Using Scan Templates
Users can configure a Template button with copy, fax, or scan settings. This
can make it easier and more accurate for users to accomplish routine tasks.
In this job shop, you will use the
scan to email settings that you
programmed for the previous job
shop.
1. Register (create) a template by
tapping Template on the Scan
screen.
2. First you will create a Template
Group. Press the Registration tab.
Tap a blank Group Number box.
Tap Open.
3. Use the keyboard to type your
name for your Template Group.
Optional: Tap Password if you want
to password protect your template
group.
4. Tap OK.
