124 Menu Function
General procedure to operate in the “Menu” mode
Before you really start operating in the “MENU” mode, learn the general procedure below. For the details, see the page
that describes each function.
You cannot enter the “MENU” mode during copying, printing, scanning or while you are in the basic copy setting menu.
The equipment has the factory default setting for each function. When you see an asterisk next to the setting on the LCD
screen, it indicates that you have changed the setting from the factory default or the current one that you have set
previously.
When you want to exit from the menu, select “CANCEL”, if it is available on the menu, and press the [SETTING/OK]
button. You can also exit from the menu layers with the [CLEAR/STOP] button if it is active.

Press the [MENU] button to enter the “MENU” mode.

Press the or button to scroll through the menu until you reach the item you want to
set. Now select “DEFAULT SETTINGS”.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button to enter the “DEFAULT SETTINGS” menu.

Press the or button to scroll through the menu until you reach the default setting
you want to change.
