3.9 Expansion of Base Unit
■ Expansion of the standard base unit for type1 light
A maximum of three expansion units can be connected for the standard base unit of type1
light controller. The base unit can be expanded by mounting expansion interface module
(IF661) to the main and expansion base units and connecting them with an expansion
cable. Refer to “Unified controller nv series type1 light Controller Unit User’s Manual - Basic
Hardware -” (6F8C1497) for connecting the expansion unit to the standard base unit of type1 light
controller.
■ Expansion of base unit BUM7B exclusive to T series migration system
Base unit BUM7B exclusive to T series migration systems can be used as the main base
unit and remote base unit. G2 I/O can be expanded in TC-net I/O loop remote I/O system
by mounting type1 light controller module PUM12 and G2I/O adapter module GA922 to
BUM7B.
