How to Use the Serial Cable
Turn the PDR-M5 and your personal computer OFF.
The power of both the PDR-M5 and your personal computer must be OFF when connecting by the serial
cable.
Connect one end of the serial cable to the DIGITAL
terminal on the PDR-M5.
Connect the other end of the serial cable to the serial
cable connector on your personal computer.

Connect the serial cable to the RS-232C serial port on your windows
machine.
