4.14 Cooling module 4 Replacement Procedures
Installing the Cooling module
To install the cooling module, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-19.
1. Wipe off the grease from the cool sheet.
2. Apply new grease on the CPU using a special syringe.
3. Connect the fan harness to the connector CN8771 on the system board.
4. Set the cooling module to the slot and secure it with the following screws.
• M2×4C S-THIN HEAD ×2
CAUTION: Arrange the fan harness within the area indicated with the thick line in the
figure below.
