Installing the Fin
To install the fin, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-30.
1. When silicon grease is already applied to the CPU, wipe them off with a cloth in
advance.
2. Apply new grease (Shin-Etsu Chemical Co. X-23-7921-5) on the CPU using a
special syringe as shown in the following figure. Apply quarter of scale (0.25ml) of
grease evenly on the CPU chip.
3. Set the fin in place and secure it with the following screws.
• M2×3B S-THIN HEAD ×2
NOTE: When securing the fin, be sure to secure the screws in the order of the number
marked on the fin.
