4.2 Battery Pack
Removing the Battery Pack
To remove the battery pack, follow the steps below and refer to Figures 4-1 and 4-2.
1. Turn the computer off. Disconnect the AC power cord and all external cables
connected to the computer.
2. Turn the computer over.
3. Push the battery cover lock to release the battery cover.
4. Push the cover forward until it stops (about one centimeter or half an inch).

5. Lift off the cover.
6. Pull back the battery latch and lift out the battery pack.

NOTE: For environmental reasons, do not throw away a spent battery
pack. Please return spent battery packs to your Toshiba dealer.
