Appendix G BIOS Rewrite Procedures
This appendix explains how to rewrite the system BIOS program when you update the
system BIOS.
Tools
To rewrite the BIOS, you need the following tool:
❑ The Diagnostics Disk for the 110 series.
Rewriting the BIOS
1. Set the system to Boot mode.
2. Turn the computer off.
3. Remove the external cable and PC card.
4. While holding down the F12 key, turn the computer on. Continue to hold down
the key until the system speaker beeps.
5. When prompted, insert the Diagnostics Disk into the FDD. Press Enter to start
BIOS rewriting.
6. When BIOS rewriting is finished, eject the Diagnostics Disk. Press the reset
switch to restart the system.
