If an external CRT display is connected to the computer, choose 1 to display
the following message:
[Border color test (7 times press [Enter] key]
Press Enter to execute the border color test. To exit this subtest and return to
the Display Test Menu, press Ctrl + Break.
Subtest 10 LED/DAC Pallet
Checks the LED indicator (Caps Lock, Allow and Num Lock) by key opera-
tion.
[ Caps/Num/Overlay LED test ]
(1) Press [ Caps Lock ] key !...Caps (on/off)
(2) Press [ Fn + F10 Lock] key !...Allow (on/off)
(3) Press [ Fn + F11 ] key !...Num (on/off)
PRESS [Enter] KEY
Press Enter to display the following message:
[ DAC pallet W-R-CMP test] = (about 1 second)
After pressing enter, this subtest writes the "2A" and "15" data to 6 bit of 256
x 3 (RGB), then reads data and compares the result with the original data.
To exit, press Ctrl + Break. Then press Enter.
Subtest 11 Color Display
Sets the video mode to "13," displays color code (0 to 63) at the same time,
then displays seven screens. The first shows many colors at once; the next
three display 64 shades of red, green, and blue successively; and the last three
display 64 shades of red, green and blue. Also, it sets the video mode to "79"
and displays 256 colors.
Press Enter to change the display. Press Ctrl + Break to exit.
