Setting Up the Serial Mouse
Before you use the serial mouse for the first time, you will need to
complete the following steps:
1 Click the Start button and point to Settings.
2 Click Control Panel.
Windows 95 displays the Control Panel.
3 Double-click Add New Hardware.
Windows 95 starts the Add New Hardware Wizard.
4 Click Next.
The Add New Hardware Wizard asks if it should search for
new hardware.
5 Select No, then click Next.
The Add New Hardware Wizard prompts you to choose a
hardware type.
6 Select Mouse, then click Next.
The Add New Hardware Wizard prompts you to choose your
mouse.
7 Select your mouse from the list provided and click Next.
Typically, you’ll select Standard Serial Mouse.
8 Click Finish, then Yes to load the new settings.
