3. Tests and Diagnostics 3.9 ODD Test
1. Random read/partial sequential read function
2. Sequential read function (for all surface)
Each item can be chosen by manual. When each test item finished, the ODD tray will open.
Check whether the tray can open automatically.
NOTE: Press “Esc” key can skip the current subtest.
The screen should display as below, indicating whether the subtests pass or fail when finished.
3. 10 Keyboard Test
The keyboard test checks the all keys function.
NOTE: The Num Lock
and the Overlay
mode must be off to execute the keyboard test.
Before keyboard test starts, the keyboard matrix code should be chosen as below display:
1. K (UK, for Europe)
2. S (US, for America)
3. J (JPN for Japan)
