Installing the Expansion Memory Module
CAUTION: Do not touch the connectors on the expansion memory module or on the
computer. Debris on the connectors may cause memory access problems.
Follow these steps to install a memory module:
1. Set the computer to boot mode and turn off the power.
2. Remove the black non-separate screw with RAM door M2.5x2 screw securing the
memory module socket cover.
3. Slide your fingernail or a thin object under the cover and lift it off.
4. Fit the module's connectors into the computer's connectors at about a 45-degree angle
and press the module carefully to ensure a firm connection.
5. Push the module down so it lies flat. The latches on either side will click into place to
secure the module.
