4.16 System Board
Removing the System Board
Remove the System Board according to the following procedures and Figure 4-21, 4-22
and 4-23.
1. Remove one M2.5x3.5 white flat head screw securing the ODD bracket to the bottom
cover.
2. Lift up the ODD bracket from the latch side and remove it from the bottom cover.
3. Remove the system board for normal ODD type:
- Remove one M2.5x4 black flat head screw and M2.5x3.5 white flat head screw
securing the system board and remove the system board.
4. Remove the system board for slot ODD type:
- Remove two M2.5x4 black flat head screws securing the slot ODD, push the slot
odd forward and disconnect the slot ODD connector from system board.
- Remove one M2.5x4 black flat head screw and M2.5x3.5 white flat head screw
securing the system board and remove the system board.
