Toshiba Satellite L775, L775D, L770, L770D will take up to 8GB
RAM total. You can install up to 4GB RAM module into each
slot.
The CMOS battery also accessible under the memory cover. It's
a regular coin battery. Model CR2032.
STEP 4
Remove one screw securing the DVD drive.
Pull the DVD drive to the left to disconnect it from the
connector board.
Remove the DVD drive.
STEP 5
Slide the hard drive to the left to disconnect it from the
motherboard.
Lift up and remove the hard drive.
Toshiba Satellite L775, L775D, L770, L770D laptop has a
regular 2.5" SATA hard drive installed. It can be replaced with
a larger capacity 2.5" SATA hard drive or SSD (solid state
drive).
STEP 6
Carefully lift up the right side of the keyboard bezel with a
small flat head screwdriver.
Continue removing the bezel with your fingers.
STEP 7
Remove four screws securing the keyboard on the top.
