Monitor doe s not
turn on
Afte r confirming tha t the monitor's powe r s witch is
on, you s hould che ck the connections to make
s ure tha t the power cord/a da ptor is firmly
conne cte d to the monitor a nd to a working power
outle t.
No display Try a djusting the contrast a nd brightness controls
on the e xte rna l monitor.
Press the function ke y in orde r to cha nge the
dis pla y priority a nd e ns ure tha t it is not s et for the
inte rna l displa y only.
Che ck to s ee if the e xte rnal monitor is conne cte d.
When the e xte rnal monitor is s e t a s the prima ry
dis pla y de vice in e xte nde d de s ktop mode, it will not
dis pla y whe n the compute r wa ke s up from S le e p
Mode if the e xte rnal monitor ha s be e n
dis connecte d while in Sleep Mode.
To ke e p this from ha ppening, do not dis connect
the e xte rna l monitor while the compute r is in Sleep
or Hibe rnation Mode .
Re membe r to turn off the compute r before
dis connecting the e xte rna l monitor.
When the dis play pa ne l a nd a n e xte rnal monitor
a re s e t to clone mode a nd the y a re turne d off by
the time r, the dis play pa ne l or the e xterna l monitor
ma y not dis pla y whe n turned on a gain.
If this occurs, press the function ke y to re -s e t the
dis pla y pa nel a nd e xte rna l monitor to clone mode .
Displa y e rror occurs Che ck that the ca ble connecting the e xte rnal
monitor to the compute r is firmly a tta ched.
