To re move the me mory module , follow the s te ps as detailed below:
1. Click P o wer in the S e ttin gs cha rm, a nd then click S h u t d o wn while
holding down the S HIFT ke y - e ns ure tha t the P owe r indica tor is off.
2. Re move the AC a da ptor and all ca ble s a nd pe riphe ra ls conne cte d to
the compute r.
3. Clos e the dis play pane l.
4. Turn the compute r ups ide down a nd re move the ba ttery pa ck.
5. Loos e n the s cre w s e curing the me mory module cove r in pla ce -
ple a s e note tha t the s cre w is a tta che d to the cove r in orde r to prevent
it from be ing los t.
6. Slide your finge rna il or a thin object under the cover a nd lift it off.
7. Pus h the la tche s away from the module in orde r to re lease it - a spring
will force one e nd of the module up a t a n a ngle .
