Connecting the Drive to your computer
1. With your computer
powered on and fully
booted up, plug the
primary USB type A
connector into a USB
port (preferably USB
2.0) on your computer
or USB hub.
Leave the secondary
USB type A connector
free. You will only use it
if needed, which will be
determined after step 2.
2. Plug the mini-USB
connector into the
mini-USB port on the
Drive.
After the Drive has been connected:
• the Power/Data Indicator will illuminate;
• the Drive should power up, and;
• the Drive should mount (a new drive icon should appear in My
Computer).
