The Diagnostic Test
This chapter explains how to use the T1900rr1900C's Diagnostic Test program (TESTCEI9)
to test the functions
of
the T1900rr1900C's hardware modules. The Diagnostics Program
is
stored on the T1900rr1900C Diagnostic Disk and consists
of
18
programs that are grouped
into the Service Program Module (DIAGNOSTIC MENU) and the Test Program Module
(DIAGNOSTIC TEST).
The DIAGNOSTIC MENU consists
of
the following eight functions.
a DIAGNOSTIC TEST
a HARD DISK FORMAT
a HEAD CLEANING
a LOG UTILITIES
a
RUNNING TEST
a FDD UTILITIES
a
SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
a SETUP
The DIAGNOSTIC
TEST option contains the following ten functional tests:

the T1900tr1900C Diagnostic test
programs.

a A formatted working disk for the Floppy Disk Drive test (all tests)
a 3.5-inch 2HD/2DD disk for interna13.5-inch FDD
a 5.25-inch 2D disk for external 5.25-inch FDD
