3.2 Executing the Diagnostic Test
Toshiba MS-DOS is required to run the T1900/T1900C diagnostics program. To start the
program, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the computer and allow it to boot from the A: drive.
2. Insert the T1900/T1900C Diagnostics disk in the computer’s internal floppy disk
drive.
3. At the system prompt (A:), type TESTCE19, and press Enter.
The following menu will appear:

version X.XX (c) copyright TOSHIBA Corp. 19XX
DIAGNOSTICS MENU :
1 - DIAGNOSTIC TEST
2 - HARD DISK FORMAT
3 -
4 - HEAD CLEANING
5 - LOG UTILITIES
6 - RUNNING TEST
7 - FDD UTILITIES
8 - SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
9 - EXIT TO MS-DOS
0 - SETUP
↑ ↓ → ← : Select items
Enter : Specify
Esc : Exit
NOTE: To exit the T1900/T1900C DIAGNOSTIC TEST menu, press the Esc key.
If a test program is in progress, press Ctrl + Break to exit the test program, or
press Ctrl + C to stop the program.
