T2150 Series
The DIAGNOSTIC TEST MENU contains the following 13 functional tests:
❑ SYSTEM TEST
❑ MEMORY TEST
❑ KEYBOARD TEST
❑ DISPLAY TEST
❑ FLOPPY DISK TEST
❑ PRINTER TEST
❑ ASYNC TEST
❑ HARD DISK TEST
❑ REAL TIMER TEST
❑ NDP TEST
❑ EXPANSION TEST
❑ SOUND TEST
❑ CD-ROM TEST
You will need the following equipment to perform some of the T2150 series Diagnostic test
programs.
❑ The T2150 series Diagnostics Disk (all tests)
❑ A formatted working disk for the floppy disk drive test (all tests)
❑ 3.5-inch 2HD/2DD disk for external 3.5-inch FDD
❑ A cleaning kit to clean the floppy disk drive heads (Head Cleaning)
❑ A PCMCIA wraparound connector for the I/O card test (PCMCIA test)
❑ A printer wraparound connector for the printer wraparound test (Printer test)
❑ An RS-232-C wraparound connector for the RS-232-C port wraparound test
(ASYNC test)
❑ A CD test media
❑ The port replicator
The following sections detail the tests within the Diagnostic Test function of the DIAGNOS-
TIC TEST MENU. Refer to Sections 3.19 through 3.25 for detailed information on the
remaining seven Service Program Module functions.
