7. Card type In Expansion slot
This option specifies which type of option cards are to be used
by the T3100e. (If you change this option, the new setting takes
effect only after the T3100e is restarted.) The T3100e supports
two types of expansion slots: the IBM PC 8-bit bus slot which can
accommodate industry-standard 8-bit option cards for the IBM PC,
and the Toshiba bus slot that can accommodate T3100e option
cards. The T3100e supports four types of option cards.

Another type of card is installed in the
expansion slot.
This option specifies which type of parallel port is to be used.
The T3100e's parallel port may be configured as either an output-
only port or as an input/output port.
Output Port specifies an output-only port. This is
the preset value.
Bi-directional Port specifies an input/output port.
