Procedure 3 Diagnostic Test Program Execution Check
The FDD Diagnostic Test program is stored on the T3400/T3400CT Diagnostics Disk. After
loading Toshiba MS-DOS, run the diagnostic program. Refer to Chapter 3, Tests and Diag-
nostics, for more information about the diagnostics test procedures.
FDD test error codes and their status names are listed in Table 2-3. Verify that the floppy
disk in the FDD is formatted correctly and the write protect tab is disabled. If any other
errors occur while the FDD diagnostics test is executing, go to Check 1.

Check 1 If the following message is displayed, disable the write protect tab on the floppy
disk. If any other message appears, perform Check 2.

Check 2 Verify that the floppy disk is formatted correctly, then go to Procedure 4.
