2. FORMAT program
(a) Select FORMAT to display the following message:
DIAGNOSTICS - FLOPPY DISK FORMAT : VX.XX
Drive number select (1:A, 2:B) ?
(b) Select a drive number to display the following message:
Type select (0:2DD-2DD,1:2D-2D,2:2D-2HD,3:2HD-2HD) ?
(c) Select a media/drive type number and press Enter to display a message
similar to the one below:
Warning : Disk data will be destroyed.
Insert work disk into drive A:
Press any key when ready.
(d) Remove the Diagnostics Disk from the FDD, insert the work disk, and press
any key.
The following message will be displayed when the FDD format is executed:
[ FDD TYPE ] : TRACK = XXX
[ FDD TYPE ] : HEAD = X
[ FDD TYPE ] : SECTOR = XX
Format start
[[track, head = XXX X]]
After the floppy disk is formatted, the following message will appear:
Format complete
Another format (1:Yes/2:No) ?
(e) Type 1 to display the message from step (c) above. Type 2 to return to the
DIAGNOSTIC MENU.
3. COPY program
(a) Select COPY to display the following message:
FLOPPY DISK FORMAT & COPY : VX.XX
Type select (0:2DD-2DD,1:2D-2D,2:2D-2HD,3:2HD-2HD) ?
(b) Select a media/drive type number to display a message similar to the one
below:
Insert source disk into drive A:
Press any key when ready.
