4.2 The Battery Pack
Removing the Battery Pack
To remove the T4900CT battery pack, follow the steps below and refer to figure 4-1.
1. Turn off the power to the T4900CT. Disconnect the AC adapter, power cord, and
all external cables connected to the T4900CT.
2. Close the display if it is open.
3. Slide open the cover to the battery latch and press the release button until it
clicks. The battery will pop out slightly.
4. Firmly grasp the battery pack and pull it out.

Installing the Battery Pack
NOTE: The battery pack is designed to fit into the T4900CT in only one way.
To install the T4900CT battery pack, follow the steps below and refer to figure 4-1:
1. Gently slide the battery pack into the battery slot making sure the groove on the
side of the battery faces left and the smooth side faces right.
2. Push the battery pack in until it locks into place.
