Procedure 6 Replacement Check
The HDD peripheral component is composed of the HDD, HDD pack connector, lower
system board, and upper system board. If any component is damaged, disassemble the
T4900CT following the steps described in chapter 4, Replacement Procedures, and perform
the following checks:
Check 1 Replace the HDD with a new one. If the HDD is still not functioning properly,
perform Check 2.
Check 2 Replace the HDD pack connector with a new one. If the HDD is still not func-
tioning properly, perform Check 3.
Check 3 Replace the lower system board with a new one. If the HDD is still not function-
ing properly, perform Check 4.
Check 4 Replace the upper system board with a new one.
