    If your Toshiba Iron is not heating up, make sure to plug the power plug completely into the electrical outlet. Also, ensure the temperature setting is appropriate for the fabric you're ironing.     If the steam is weak or not enough steam comes out of your Toshiba Iron, ensure the Steam/Dry lever is set to [Steam] or [Shower]. Hold the iron horizontally and press the Shot button several times while the Steam/Dry lever is in the [Steam] or [Shower] position. Also, add water up to the full mark and clean the steam vents.
