3.2 Executing the Diagnostic Test
Toshiba MS-DOS is required to run the DIAGNOSTICS TEST PROGRAM. To start the
DIAGNOSTIC TEST PROGRAM, follow these steps:
1. Insert the Diagnostics disk in the floppy disk drive and turn on the computer.
(The Diagnostics Disk contains the MS-DOS boot files.)
NOTE: To execute the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM test, make sure the CD-ROM and CD-
ROM drive or DVD-ROM and DVD-ROM drive is installed in the computer and the
external FDD is attached to the USB port.
The following menu will appear:

NOTE: To exit the DIAGNOSTIC TEST MENU, press the Esc key. If a test program is in
progress, press Ctrl + Break to exit the test program, or press Ctrl + C to stop the test
program.
