2. SEPARATE BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL(See page 60–1)
3. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.2
4. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.2
(W/O STEERING PAD SWITCH 4 SPOKE STEERING
WHEEL)
5. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.3(3
SPOKE STEERING WHEEL ASSY)
6. REMOVE CONNECTOR COVER (W/ STEERING PAD
SWITCH 4 SPOKE STEERING WHEEL)
7. REMOVE HORN BUTTON ASSY
(a) Place the front wheels facing straight ahead.
(b) Using a torx socket wrench (T30), loosen the 2 torx
screws until the groove along the screw circumference
catches on the screw case.
(c) Pull out the wheel pad from the horn button assy.
(d) 4 spoke steering wheel assy:
Disconnect the airbag connectors and horn connector
and remove the horn button assy.
(e) 3 spoke steering wheel assy:
Disconnect the airbag connectors and remove the horn
button assy.
