To release the belt, press the buckle
release button and allow the belt to
retract.
If the belt does not retract smoothly, pull
it out and check for kinks or twists. Then
make sure it remains untwisted as it re-
tracts.
The shoulder belt comfort guides for
the rear seat outside positions will pro-
vide added seat belt comfort for chil-
dren who have outgrown child re-
straints and for small adults. When the
outside shoulder belt is inserted
through the guide, the comfort guide
pulls the belt away from the neck and
head of an occupant.
To use the comfort guide, do as fol-
lows.
Seat belt comfort guides are stored in the
both pockets on the sides of the rear
seatback.
