Set Protection Mode
You can use dierent protection modes to arm and disarm your home. Set dierent sensors as trigger devices in dierent modes, then your hub
will sound the alarm when the set sensors detect events. With Protection Mode, you can easily get in and out of your home without worrying about
triggering an alarm.
Your hub can be in 4 dierent protection modes and you can switch modes easily with a simple tap on the Tapo app.
Home Mode: Use this mode when you are at home. Set all outdoor sensors and door/window sensors as trigger devices to arm your home, then you
could move freely in your home without triggering your indoor sensors.
Away Mode: Use this mode when you are at work or on vacation. Set all sensors as trigger devices to secure your home, then your hub will sound the
alarm and you will get alerts when events are detected.
Sleep Mode: Use this mode when you are asleep. Set motion sensors for lighting as trigger devices for your convenience while set door/window
sensors and outdoor sensors as trigger devices for security.
Protection Mode OFF: Use this mode only when you want to disarm. No sensors in your home will trigger the hub alarm.
