history
The history Line Configuration mode command enables the command history function. To disable the command
history function, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
history
no history

The command history function is enabled.

User Guidelines
This command enables the command history function for a specified line. To enable or disable the command his-
tory function for the current terminal session, use the terminal history user EXEC mode command.
Example
The following example enables the command history function for telnet.
Console(config)# line telnet
Console(config-line)# history
