radius-server deadtime
The radius-server deadtime Global Configuration mode command improves RADIUS response time when serv-
ers are unavailable. The command is used to cause the unavailable servers to be skipped. To return to the default
configuration, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
radius-server deadtime deadtime
no radius-server deadtime
Parameters
deadtime — Length of time in minutes during which a RADIUS server is skipped over by transaction
requests. (Range: 0 - 2000)
Default Configuration
The deadtime setting is 0.

There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example sets the deadtime to 10 minutes.
