The spanning-tree bpdu Global Configuration mode command defines BPDU handling when the spanning tree is
disabled globally or on a single interface. To return to the default configuration, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
spanning-tree bpdu {filtering | flooding}
Parameters
filtering — Filter BPDU packets when the spanning tree is disabled on an interface.
floodingFlood BPDU packets when the spanning tree is disabled on an interface.
Default Configuration
The default setting is flooding.

The following example defines BPDU packet flooding when the spanning-tree is disabled on an interface.
