5. Put the free stroke spacer on the piston rod. Then mount the new circlip like shown in the
image below.
Note: Circlips have a sharp and a dull outer edge. When mounting the circlip, make sure the
sharp edge is engaged, it has to face outwards (“sharp edge facing  left  in picture
below”).
