1. Release the fixings and remove the starter motor cover.

2. Fixing M6 x 42mm
3. Starter motor cover
Wear hand, eye and face protection when unhooking the stand spring. Take great care
to minimise the risk of personal injury and loss of components.
2. With the side stand in the up position, unhook the spring from the side stand and
remove it from the motorcycle.
3. Remove and discard the E-clip securing the pivot pin.
