Note the routing and retaining clips/clamps of the alternator and crankshaft position
sensor harnesses for installation.
4. Route the alternator harness to the rear of the engine.
Note the routing of the alternator, Triumph shift assist, side stand and gear position
sensor harnesses around the wire guide and the location of the cable tie for
installation.
The wire guide keeps the harnesses away from the drive shaft.
5. Cut the cable tie securing the harnesses to the wire guide.

2. Starter motor, Triumph shift assist, side stand and gear
position sensor harnesses
3. Wire guide
4. Cable tie
6. Detach the crankshaft position sensor connector from the battery box outer
moulding.
7. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor from the main harness.
