3. Fit the bearing retaining plate and tighten the new fixing to 10 Nm.

2. Retaining plate
3. Fixing
4. Fit the gear change shaft, two washers and the gear change knuckle to the upper
crankcase as noted for removal.
5. With the washers next to the crankcase, fit new E-clips to the gear change shaft, as
noted for removal.
