- Using a low voltage ohmmeter,
connect one lead to the switch
housing subharness connector pin 1
and the other to the two way
connector pin 8 Expected result
• SET switch released - Open circuit
• SET switch operated - Short circuit
- Using a low voltage ohmmeter,
connect one lead to the switch
housing subharness connector pin 1
and the other to the two way
connector pin 8 Expected result
• RESET switch released - Open circuit
• RESET switch operated - Short
circuit

Proceed to test 7
Faulty
Replace the switch housing,
proceed to test 7

Reconnect harness, clear fault code.
