• The batteries could become hot during charging. NEVER
touch hot batteries! There is a risk of being burnt! After
charging, first of all remove the power adapter of the
Rapid Battery Charger from the plug socket. Then allow
the batteries to cool down before removing them from the
Rapid Battery Charger.
• The Rapid Battery Charger, the supplied power adapter and
the vehicle-adapter do not contain any user-serviceable
components. Should the housing of these appliances (Rapid
Battery Charger / Power adapter) be opened, the warranty
expires! If repairs are needed, contact one of our service part-
ners in your area. The addresses of our service partners can
be found on the warranty card. This is supplied with the Uni-
versal Battery Charger.

• opening the housings of the Rapid Battery Charger, power
adapter or vehicle-adapter
• attempted repairs made by non-qualified personnel
