Be sure all the pasta is completely covered by water and respect the indicated water levels.
For fresh pasta, we recommend pushing the pasta down slightly to check which water level
will be needed according to the level of pasta. We do not recommend cooking fresh pasta
which indicate a maximum cooking time on the package of 3 minutes. The taste will not be
satisfactory.
The MAX pasta level indicated at 6 portions is the real MAXIMUM amount of pasta that can
be cooked at any one time in the Pasta Maker.
Never put the Pasta Maker in the microwave oven for more than 30 minutes as it might
damage the product. Always make sure there is water in the container while microwaving
Make sure you do not put the cover on while cooking in the microwave as it would overow.
It is recommended NOT to stir the pasta during the cooking process for a better result.
Pasta with high starch content might get sticky during cooking. In that case it is recommended
to rinse the pasta before use.
Should the pasta stick together after cooking, it might help to rinse the pasta with hot tap
water after cooking.
It is not recommended to cook certain types of pasta in the Pasta Maker like e.g. lasagna
sheets, tagliatelle nests, vermicelli, cannelloni, gnocchi.
Contents will be hot after cooking. Use both hands when handling.
Always lift the cover away from you while serving so the steam does not burn your ngers.
To avoid staining we do not recommend adding saron, curry or other colouring spices to
the pasta or reheating tomato or curry based foods. Staining will not aect the performance
of the product and it is not covered by the Tupperware guarantee.
In case you have some pasta left, let it cool without the cover, then cover and place in the
fridge. If you want to reheat the pasta later (pasta only, no addition of any sauce, spice or
other ingredients), add a little bit of water and reheat with the cover in ‘open’ position at max
600W (position the cover with the Tupperware logo on the side of the draining holes of the
base).
Always rinse the container in cold water immediately after use to help prevent strong food
smells or stains. All components are dishwasher safe.
Do not use abrasive or sharp utensils to mix, clean or serve.
