Operating your vehicle
● Close the throttle completely and apply the brake.
● As the vehicle speed reduces depress the clutch lever
and down shift the gears.
● Bring the transmission to neutral position just before
vehicle stops.
● Press the Self Starter switch continuously for 2 sec
when the vehicle is in idling RPM (<1500 RPM) &
Neutral condition to stop the engine, then turn
ignition switch to OFF position and take out the key.
● Apply parking brake. Lock the steering by turning the
handle bar to the right.(Refer page no.21.)
Fuel saving tips
● Carry out the periodic maintenance services regularly at
TVS authorised distributor or dealers / authorized service
center.
● Perform daily checks as specified in page no 32.
● Avoid sudden and frequent braking.
● Use Start Stop function to switch OFF the engine if you
have to idle the vehicle for more than 1 minutes.
● Clean, check and adjust the sparkplug gap periodically.

● Clean air filter element as per schedule (See page53)
● Lubricate propeller shaft, slider block, pin and flange as
per lubrication schedule.(Page no.47)

WARNING
Do not press the clutch while braking at high speeds.
Always apply the parking brake while parking on
gradient.
Reverse gear operation
● Bring the vehicle in neutral position
● Allow the vehicle to stop completely
● Press the clutch lever.
● Turn the gear change twist grip upwards to move to
alert ‘A’ position, beeper sound can be hear. (Refer fig.)
● Turn the gear change twist grip upwards to reverse ‘R’
position to engage the reverse gear. (Refer fig.)
● Engage the clutch gradually to move the vehicle.
