Making a Call
You can make calls using the handset or the built-in
speakerphone. To make a call:
1. To use the handset, lift the handset. To use the
speakerphone, press Keypad on the Phone screen.
2. The keypad is displayed.
3. Enter the phone number on the touchscreen.
• To look up a number in the Contacts list, press
Contacts.
• Use the Delete button to correct any mistakes.
4. Press the Call button to place the call.
5. To end the call, replace the handset or touch End Call
on the screen.
6. Press to return to the Phone screen.

Connected Number Displays the extension or phone
number that is being dialed or that is currently connected.
Volume Slider Use the slider to increase or decrease the
volume level.
Note: You can also adjust the volume at any time
using the Volume arrows shown in “Hardware
Overview” on page 2.
Connection Status Displays Dialing or the total elapsed
time of the currently connected call.
