The product is a radio control model, not a toy, and requires regular maintenance for optimal performance.

Function Description:

The UD1609 / UD1609PRO is a remote control model car designed for drag racing. It features full proportional control, allowing for precise steering and throttle adjustments. The model is equipped with an Electronic Stability System (ESP) gyroscope, which helps correct the car's attitude and direction during skids or loss of control. The sensitivity of the ESP system can be adjusted via a knob on the transmitter. The car also includes a car lights control button to switch color modes or turn off the lights.

Usage Features:

  • Transmitter Controls:
    • Power Switch: Turns the transmitter on/off.
    • Car Lights Control Button: Toggles car light color modes and turns lights on/off.
    • Throttle Trigger: Controls forward, backward, and brake functions.
    • Steering Wheel: Controls left and right turns.
    • Throttle Speed Limit Switch: Offers three modes (Low, Medium, High) to limit throttle output to 50%, 75%, or 100% respectively.
    • Steering Trim Knob: Adjusts the center position of the steering to ensure the car drives in a straight line.
    • Steering Range Adjustment Knob (ST.D/R): Adjusts the maximum left and right steering angle.
    • Electronic Stability System (ESP) Gyroscope Action Ratio Adjusting Knob: Adjusts the sensitivity of the ESP system.
    • Throttle Reverse (TH.REV) and Steering Reverse (ST.REV) Switches: Reverses the direction of throttle and steering inputs.
  • Indicators:
    • Car Status Indicator (Green): Flashes when the car's battery is low, indicating a need for replacement.
    • Transmitter Indicator (Red): Flashes quickly when the signal is weak or interrupted, and slowly when the transmitter's power is low.
  • Operation Sequence:
    1. Read the instruction manual thoroughly.
    2. Ensure all screws and nuts are properly tightened.
    3. Confirm the remote control and vehicle batteries are fully charged.
    4. Ensure the throttle trigger is in the center position.
    5. Turn on the transmitter power first, then the model power.
    6. Place the model on level ground for automatic gyroscope calibration during frequency matching.
    7. Do not touch the throttle trigger when turning on the transmitter.
    8. Operate only in open areas (>4x4m) without pedestrians.
    9. Avoid putting fingers or objects into rotating parts.
    10. After use, turn off model power first, then transmitter power, and remove the battery.
  • Battery Safety:
    • Disconnect power and unplug after use.
    • Remove battery from model before charging.
    • Do not charge bulging or expanding batteries.
    • Keep away from damp, corrosive environments, and heat sources.
    • Charge under adult supervision.
    • Pay attention to battery polarity.
    • Do not mix different types of batteries or old and new batteries.
    • Do not short circuit terminals, decompose, or put batteries into fire.
    • Use the provided special charger.
    • Always supervise charging.
    • Allow the battery to cool before charging.
    • Do not reverse contact or disassemble the battery to prevent explosion.
  • ESP Functionality:
    • No ESP function when the car retreats.
    • When moving forward, the throttle trigger must be pulled backward more than 30% of the stroke for the gyroscope to activate.
    • Gyroscope action ratio increases with car speed.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning: Remove sediment and dirt from the car after each use, ensuring it is kept dry.
  • Lubrication: Apply lubricating oil to external metal parts.
  • Storage: Separate the car and battery when not in use. Store the model in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Long-term Storage: If not using the model for a long time, raise the chassis to keep the wheels off the ground.
  • Battery Disposal: Wasted Li-ion batteries must not be placed with household trash. Contact local environmental agencies or the supplier for proper recycling.
