Temperature Control Parameters:

  • Minimum Temperature Set1 Value (SLI): Default 26.0°C. Adjustable from 26.0°C up to the Maximum Temperature Set Value. Modbus Address: 40002.
  • Maximum Temperature Set1 Value (SHI): Default 99.0°C. Adjustable from the Minimum Temperature Set Value up to 99.9°C. Modbus Address: 40003.
  • Hysteresis Parameter for Compressor Output (HSF): Default 4.0°C. Adjustable from 0.1°C to 10.0°C. Modbus Address: 40004.
  • Cabinet Sensor Offset Parameter (OF1): Default 0°C. Adjustable from -10.0°C to 10.0°C. Modbus Address: 40005.
  • Condenser Sensor Offset Parameter (OF2): Default 4.0°C. Adjustable from -10.0°C to 10.0°C, observed if the Condenser sensor selection parameter (SEn) is 1. Modbus Address: 40006.
  • Evaporator Sensor Offset Parameter (OF3): Default 4.0°C. Adjustable from -10.0°C to 10.0°C, observed if the Evaporator sensor selection parameter (SEn) is 1. Modbus Address: 40007.

Operational Parameters:

  • Waiting Parameter for Elevator (ASA): Default 0. Adjustable from 0 to 1. If set to 1, the system operates for 58 minutes and stops for 2 minutes, during which the compressor and fan are stopped. Modbus Address: 40008.
  • Evaporator and Condenser Sensor Selection Parameter (SEn): Default 1. Allows selection between inactive or active evaporator and condenser sensors. Modbus Address: 40009.
  • Compressor Operating Type Parameter (HCS): Default 0 (Cooling). Can be set to Cooling or Heating. Modbus Address: 40010.
  • Decimal Separator Enabling Parameter (P.d): Default 1 (Enable). Can be set to Disable or Enable. Modbus Address: 40011.
  • Digital Input Type Selection Parameter (P.o): Default 2 (Door input). Options include Inactive, Discharge input, and Door input. Modbus Address: 40012.
  • Filter Time of Digital Inputs (F.t): Default 0 seconds. Adjustable from 0 to 10 seconds, for protection against electrical contact debounce or short signals. Modbus Address: 40013.
  • Digital Input Contact Selection Parameter (C.S): Default 1 (NC "normally close"). Options include NO "normally open" and NC "normally close". Modbus Address: 40014.
  • Compressor Start-Start Delay Parameter (C.Sd): Default 0 minutes. Adjustable from 0 to 20 minutes. This delay ensures a minimum time between compressor activations. Modbus Address: 40015.
  • Minimum Compressor ON Time Parameter (C.on): Default 0 minutes. Adjustable from 0 to 20 minutes. This delay ensures a minimum ON time for the compressor before deactivation. Modbus Address: 40016.
  • Minimum Compressor OFF Time Parameter (F.C): Default 0 minutes. Adjustable from 0 to 20 minutes. This delay ensures a minimum OFF time for the compressor before activation. Modbus Address: 40017.
  • Cooling Outdoor Fan Active Parameter (oEn): Default 0 (Cooling outdoor passive). If set to 1 (Cooling outdoor active) and the outdoor temperature is lower than the "oSt" parameter, cooling is managed via the discharge output instead of the compressor. Modbus Address: 40018.
  • Cooling Outdoor Temperature High Limit Parameter (oSH): Default 10.0°C. If "oEn" is 1 and outdoor temperature exceeds this value, cooling via discharge output is prevented. Modbus Address: 40019.
  • Cooling Outdoor Temperature Low Limit Parameter (oSL): Default -9.9°C. If "oEn" is 1 and outdoor temperature falls below this value, cooling via discharge output is prevented. Modbus Address: 40020.
  • Cooling Cabin Temperature High Limit Parameter (C.CH): Default 35.0°C. If "oEn" is 1 and cabin temperature exceeds this value, cooling via discharge output is prevented. Modbus Address: 40021.
  • High Temperature Alarm Active Parameter (A.on): Default 0 (High temperature alarm passive). If set to 1, high temperature alarm control is active. Modbus Address: 40022.
  • High Temperature Alarm Temperature Set Parameter (A.St): Default 43.0°C. If cabin temperature exceeds this value, the alarm relay activates, and "Er4" is displayed. Modbus Address: 40023.
  • Baud Rate Parameter (b.r): Default 0 (9600). Selectable baud rates for Modbus communication: 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200. Modbus Address: 40024.
  • Slave ID Parameter (S.Id): Default 1. Adjustable from 1 to 255 for Modbus communication. Modbus Address: 40025.

Status Parameters (Modbus Read-Only):

  • AIN1 (Cabin temperature sensor value): Modbus Address: 30001.
  • AIN2 (Condenser temperature sensor value): Modbus Address: 30002.
  • AIN3 (Evaporator temperature sensor value): Modbus Address: 30003.
  • I/O Status: Modbus Address: 30004 (bits for Digital input, Compressor relay output, Fan relay output, Discharge relay output, Alarm relay output status).
  • Alarm Status: Modbus Address: 30005 (bits for Sb1, Sb2, Sb3, Er1, Er2, Er3, Er4, OFF mode, Aın alarms).

Usage Features

The Uludağ Enclosure Cooling Units are designed for user-friendly operation with a digital thermostat and intuitive controls.

Digital Thermostat Interface:

  • Display: Shows the current temperature (e.g., 20.0°C) and various status indicators.
  • LED Indicators:
    • Evap. Error Led: Indicates an error related to the evaporator.
    • Cond. Error Led: Indicates an error related to the condenser.
    • Cooling Active Led: Indicates when the cooling function is active.
  • Buttons:
    • Increment (Up Arrow) and Decrement (Down Arrow) Buttons: Used to adjust parameter values. Holding them for 3 seconds in the main operation screen displays the 1st menu parameters.
    • R (Reset) Button: Holding for 3 seconds in any menu screen displays the main operation screen. Holding for 3 seconds in the main operation screen sends the device to OFF mode.
    • SET Button: Holding for 3 seconds in the main operation screen sends the device to Compressor Set changing mode. Holding both Reset and Set buttons for 3 seconds displays the 2nd menu parameters.
  • Menu Navigation:
    • Pressing any button on the main menu screen displays the main operation screen.
    • Pressing and holding increment/decrement buttons for 3 seconds from the main operation screen enters the 1st menu parameters.
    • Pressing and holding the SET button for 3 seconds from the main operation screen enters the Compressor Set changing mode.
    • Pressing and holding both R and SET buttons for 3 seconds from the main operation screen enters the 2nd menu parameters.
  • Factory Settings: The device can be reset to factory settings by powering it on while holding down both the R and SET buttons.

Modbus Communication:

  • The device supports Modbus communication, allowing it to be integrated into larger control systems.
  • Users can read and write parameters (e.g., temperature set points, offsets) and monitor the device's status (e.g., sensor values, alarm states) remotely.
  • Baud rate and Slave ID are configurable to match network requirements.

Maintenance Features

The device includes several features to aid in maintenance and troubleshooting:

Failure Messages: The digital thermostat displays specific error codes to indicate various issues, facilitating quick diagnosis.

  • Sb1 (Cabinet sensor break): Compressor stops, alarm relay activated.
  • Sb2 (Condenser sensor break): Compressor stops, alarm relay activated.
  • Sb3 (Evaporator sensor break): Compressor stops, alarm relay activated.
  • Er1 (Evaporator limit alarm): Occurs if the evaporator sensor value does not decrease by more than 3°C within 15 minutes of compressor operation. Compressor stops, alarm relay activated, evaporator error LED turns on.
  • Er2 (Condenser sensor high limit alarm): Occurs if the condenser sensor value exceeds 75°C. Compressor stops, alarm relay activated, condenser error LED turns on.
  • Er3 (Condenser sensor low limit alarm): Occurs if the condenser sensor value falls below 3°C. Compressor stops, alarm relay activated, condenser error LED turns on.
  • Er4 (Cabin sensor high limit alarm): Occurs if the cabin sensor value is greater than the "A.St" parameter. Alarm relay activated. Alarm control is active if "A.on" is 1.
  • OFF (Device OFF mode): Compressor and fan stop.
  • Aın (Door open alarm): Compressor and fan stop.

Sensor Monitoring: The Modbus interface allows continuous monitoring of cabin, condenser, and evaporator sensor values (AIN1, AIN2, AIN3), which is crucial for preventive maintenance and performance analysis.

Configurable Delays and Limits: Parameters like compressor start-start delay, minimum ON/OFF times, and temperature limits help protect the compressor and extend its lifespan by preventing rapid cycling and operation outside safe ranges.

Digital Input Monitoring: The I/O status (Modbus Address 30004) provides information on digital input status (e.g., door open/closed), allowing for quick identification of external triggers or faults.
