Below each frame is the name of the chord played.
Press the tip of your ring finger onto the third fret of the first string (the A
string). Experiment using different pressures to learn exactly how much to
apply. You need to press hard enough that the string makes a clear tone,
while being careful not to have your fingers come in contact with other
strings
C Major
To play a C major chord, place your ring finger on the 3rd fret of the
bottom string. The remaining strings ring completely open.
G Major
To play a G major chord, place your middle finger on the 2nd fret of the
bottom string, your ring finger on the 3rd fret of the second string, and
your index finger on the 2nd fret of the third string. The top string rings
completely open.
