The obtained fertiliser amount multiplied by 40 corresponds to the dose per hectare
distributed by the fertiliser distributor.
Example:
Speed
10 [km]
Measurement
distance
33.3 [m]
Scale
39
p. 47
p. 20
Width
15 [m]
Factor
40
Weight of the fertiliser in the container 7.6 [kg] x 40 = 304 [kg/ha]
If the measured dose differs from the assumed one, adjust the scale and repeat the test. In
the case of small doses of fertiliser per hectare, the measurement distance should be
doubled and the factor reduced by half.
The measurement distance should be measured in the field where the fertiliser has to be
distributed (the tyre distortion and slip will be taken into account).
4.2.2. Distribution control stationary
Start the hydraulic system by opening the right damper in the specified period of time as
specified on p. 20.
Weigh the obtained fertiliser dose in the container (bucket) and multiply by the factor
amounting to 40 which corresponds to the dose per hectare.
Example:
Speed
10 [km]
Time of opening
of the damper
11.99 [s]
Scale
39
p. 47
p. 20
Width
15 [m]
Factor
40
Weight of the fertiliser in the container 7.6 [kg] x 40 = 304 [kg/ha]
If the measured dose differs from the assumed one, adjust the scale and repeat the test.
In the case of small doses of fertiliser per hectare, the damper opening time should be
doubled and the factor reduced by half.
Diagram KR 1 signalling device
The diagram makes it possible to precisely set the distribution dose on the basis of the
fertiliser weight obtained from a single test. The way the diagram should be used has
been described on page 89.
KR 1 signalling device is used mainly to measure the current set fertiliser dose during
distribution in kg/ha and to measure the travel speed in km/h.
