Regardless of pilot preference we
recommend alternating the packing
methods a little every time, especially
around the middle of the canopy, as this
area is particularly exposed to mechanical
abrasion in the folding process. We also
recommend to always place the canopy
on the compression bag before folding
along the chord ā this will protect against
soil abrasion.
In order to prolong the life of the ASS
battens we recommend the following
procedure when folding the canopy in the
chord-wise direction:
