f) For an awning with a diameter of 650 cm, use four additional corkscrews to secure
the rope, since under the influence of wind gusts or strong lateral wind, an increased
force is applied and two standard corkscrews may not hold the structure:
1. Screw 4 additional corkscrews in the ground at a distance of 200 cm from the
anchorage points, while the awning is closed.
2. Measure the rope and tie one end to the awning, the other end - to the
corkscrew in the ground.
Important: in a slightly open condition, all 4 ropes must be strained and withstand
approximately the same force. This method of attachment provides a more stable
position in case of a lateral wind.
To keep the awning closed if there are constant strong lateral winds, additional
strainers must be used.
