4.9.6 Updating QML Data Logger Software with Memory Card
You can update the QML data logger software from a pre-programmed memory card. Each
time the station powers up, the boot software checks if there is new software on the
memory card.
1. Remove the memory card you use for data logging from the memory card slot in the
QML data logger.
2. Insert the memory card that contains the updated software into the memory card slot.
3. To start copying the new software, type the command SWLOAD and press ENTER.
When the software has been copied, the QML data logger restarts automatically.
4. After the QML data logger has restarted, take the memory card out of the QML data
logger and store it for future use.
5. Insert the memory card that you use for data logging back in the memory card slot.

Resetting QML Data Logger
4.9.7.1 Resetting QML Data Logger after Updates
After updating parameters and changing sensor settings, reset the QML data logger. Use
AWS Client or press the reset button inside the logger.
1. To reset the QML data logger with AWS Client, select one of the following options:
• To reset the logger immediately, select Maintenance > Reset > Immediate.
• To reset the logger after a
specified delay, select Maintenance > Reset > Delayed. In
the Delayed Reset window, type the delay (in seconds) after which you want the
logger to be reset, and select OK.
Once the reset is complete and the setup is running without problems, AWS Client
terminal window displays the text Setup running ok, and the QML data logger is ready
for use again.
